The mainstream media has gone too far in their zeal to attack President Trump.
The liberal media is stirring up outrage over reports that President Trump “leaked” classified information obtained by Israel to the Russian ambassador. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Trump saying, “intelligence cooperation is terrific — never been better.”President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu answered questions from the press reaffirming their commitments to work together.
The mainstream media’s latest false-scandal has hung over President Trump’s first international trip like a dark cloud. Instead of reporting on the important policy meetings, the press is obsessing over a May 10th meeting.
According to The Washington Post, President Trump revealed classified information to the Russians when he meet with the Russian ambassador earlier this month.
The Washington Post reported that the information revealed to the Russians was originally obtained by Israel intelligence agents. The liberal news outlet further claimed that President Trump endangered the Israel source by revealing the information.
Essentially, The Washington Post was so concerned that President Trump offered classified information to the Russians that they decided to leak the same information to the world to reveal the scope of the problem.
The information was apparently pertaining to a security concern where ISIS forces are able to disguise bombs inside laptops. President Trump shared this information with the Russians to help them defend themselves. Russia is currently aiding Syrian President Assad in his war against ISIS.
However, according to National Security Advisor General McMasters, President Trump did not release any inappropriate information, and was never even briefed on the source of the classified information. The Washington Post revealed more information in their attempt to shame President Trump than was disclosed in the private meeting between world powers.
The media is expressing concern that President Trump cannot be trusted while relying on traitorous government officials to violate federal law and leak the latest “missteps” by Trump.
In their recent meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu also defended President Trump dismissing media concerns that the US-Israeli alliance was compromised. Instead, Netanyahu expressed that he is happy to work with a President willing to get tough on Iran and step up the fight against ISIS.
