After Pissing Off LGBT With Vulgar Trump Joke, Colbert Releases Bizarre Statement About Gay Sex

The Late Show liberal ‘comedian’ Stephen Colbert offended people from all sides of the isle in a joke against Trump that went too far. “Sir, you attract more skinheads than free Rogaine. You have more people marching against you than cancer. You talk like a sign language gorilla who got hit in the head. In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s c**k holster,” said Colbert.

That last line was especially offensive for people. A member of the LGBT wrote for the Huffington Post that Colbert was homophobic because he was trying to ‘demean’ the president by suggesting he’s gay. The hashtag #firecolbert has been circulating the internet.

Stephen Colbert discussed the controversy. He started by saying he’s not sorry, but then he went on to say a very strange thing about gay people. “Now, folks, if you saw my monologue on Monday, you know that I was a little upset with Donald Trump for insulting a friend of mine. So at the end of that monologue, I had a few choice insults for the president in return,” said Colbert.

“I don’t regret that. I believe he can take care of himself. I have jokes, he has launch codes. So it’s a fair fight.

“So while I would do it again, I would change a few words that were cruder than they needed to be. Now, I’m not going to repeat the phrase, but I just want to say, for the record, life is short, and anyone who expresses their love for another person in their own way, to me, is an American hero. I think we can all agree on that,” he concluded. Apparently having gay sex makes you a hero? Did you think that was a strange apology?
