James Woods Calls Out TIME Magazine For Spreading Vicious ‘Blatant Lie’ About Republicans

Conservative Hollywood actor James Woods fearlessly called out TIME Magazine for spreading a vicious lie about Republicans. TIME Magazine proved how they are fake news by posting an article called “Neil Gorsuch is set to be confirmed after Republicans tore up Senate rules”. The only problem is that Republican’s didn’t tear up the rules, Democrats did.

“How is it possible that @TIME can run a headline which is a blatant lie?” wrote James Woods on twitter. He linked to a Harry Reid tweet from 2013 of him bragging how he changed the senate rules to stop Republicans from filibustering. “Thanks to all of you who encouraged me to consider filibuster reform. It had to be done,” wrote Harry Reid.

“@TIME This FACT is conveniently ignored by @TIME as they accuse @SenateGOP of creating the so called #NuclearOption. It was created by #HarryReid,” wrote James Woods on Twitter. The whole article fails to mention this fact.

“Democrats denounced the GOP’s use of what both sides dubbed the “nuclear option” to put Gorsuch on the court, calling it an epic power grab that would further corrode politics in Congress, the courts and the United States. Many Republicans bemoaned reaching that point, too, but they blamed Democrats for pushing them to it,” lied TIME Magazine.

“First Democrats tried to mount a filibuster in an effort to block Gorsuch by denying him the 60 votes needed to advance to a final vote. That was successful only briefly, as Gorsuch fell five votes short. Then Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., raised a point of order, suggesting that Supreme Court nominees should not be subjected to a 60-vote threshold but instead a simple majority in the 100-member Senate,” wrote TIME Magazine in a purposefully misleading way.
