Boom! Trump, Clinton locked in tight race in Arizona!!!

boomPresumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic front-runner Hillary Clintonare running close in Arizona, with Trump holding a slight lead, according to a new Public Policy Polling survey.

Trump has a slight lead over Clinton in the state, 40 to 38 percent. In the poll, Libertarian Party presidential candidate Gary Johnson gets 6 percent of the vote and Green Party candidate Jill Stein takes 2 percent.

Among Democrats, Clinton has 80 percent of the vote. But among Republicans, Trump takes only gets 68 percent of the vote.

Only 65 percent of Republican respondents say they are comfortable with Trump being their party’s nominee, while 22 percent say they aren’t.

In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and Clinton, Trump has a slightly larger lead over the Democratic front-runner, 45 to 41 percent. He also garners 77 percent support among Republicans in a head-to-head matchup.

In a Trump vs. Clinton race, 15 percent of Republicans said they are undecided, compared to 8 percent of Democrats.

Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders has a small lead over Trump in the state, 42 to 39 percent. Johnson gets 6 percent of the vote and Stein has 2 percent, according to the poll.

In a head-to-head matchup between Sanders and Trump, the Vermont senator has a 1-point advantage over Trump, 45 to 44 percent.

Among voters under 45, Clinton leads Trump 39 to 32 percent. But Sanders holds a larger advantage over the presumptive GOP nominee among younger voters, leading Trump 52 to 29 percent.

The poll surveyed 896 registered voters from May 13-15. The margin of error is 3.3 percent.
